The main difference in Genie Mini II (GM II) vs the original Genie Mini (GM), is GM II is packed full of technology to allow it to be compatible with the features and upcoming features of the Genie II App.
The gear box is the same for the original GM and GM II, so there is no difference in the sound or function of the motor.
