The Genie II can be charged from any power bank. However the battery needs to be installed in the Genie II. We recommend finding a charger and or battery back that can do USB-C 5V/3A
A full charge from the official Syrp Genie II power adaptor will take up to 3 hrs.
The Genie II has USB Type C ports, these are backwards compatible to older USB versions, but charging from a USB-A port could take up to 6 hours.
Note -Like all Lithium-ion batteries, the Genie II's battery tends lose the capacity to hold charge if left flat for a long period of time.
To reduce the effect of capacity loss insure your Genie II is at least at 50% charged before you put it into storage. Then get your Genie II out at regular intervals (every 6 months or so) to give it a charge.
This will keep your Genie battery happy and ensure its life is a long one.
